what is this podcast
‍ ‍about?

YOU WATCH ANIME, RIGHT? IF NOT, CONSIDER WATCHING SOME.

THIS PODCAST IS ESPECIALLY NICHE: ANIME MUSIC AND MUSIC THEORY. BUT FEAR NOT, EVEN IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED ANIME OR DON’T KNOW MUCH OF MUSIC THEORY, YOU CAN STILL ENJOY LEARNING SOMETHING NEW ABOUT THE WORLD OF MUSIC FOR ANIMATION AND JAPANESE CULTURE & ART.

In this show, you can hear experts, hobbyists, fanatics and enthusiasts talk about anison. I’ve got a line up of music researchers for the first few episodes of this podcast who will discuss the music from several anime series and, of course, several music theory topics. Some episodes may be a little more theoretical while others a little more informal, so there’s a bit for everybody. We’re here to nerd out and talk about anime music.
